Who we are
Rune & Rose Floral Designs is a flower studio rooted in creativity, sustainability, and connection. Our designs are unique, non-traditional, and inspired by movement, nature, and the people we serve.
Founded by Emily and Dalton Larabee, Rune & Rose is based in the hills of Western Massachusetts. Since meeting serendipitously at a music festival in 2017, Emily and Dalton’s lives have centered around art and music. In 2020, they moved from Colorado to Worthington, MA, where they started a small vegetable and flower farm. It was there that growing and arranging flowers became their shared artistic expression.
At Rune & Rose, we practice regenerative farming principles and grow many of our seasonal blooms on our own land. During the New England growing season, we prioritize sourcing flowers from other local growers to support our farming community. When additional blooms are needed, we work closely with a family-owned, Massachusetts-based flower wholesaler to ensure both flexibility and quality in our designs.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. All floral waste is composted, and we never use floral foam, toxic chemicals, spray paint, or unnecessary plastics. Our vessels are reused, upcycled, or thoughtfully sourced secondhand to reduce waste and environmental impact.
We also believe deeply in giving back to our community. Each year, we run a Free Flower Program in our hometown of Worthington, where community members can nominate themselves or others to receive complimentary bouquets. In the 2024 growing season alone, we gifted over 35 bouquets through this initiative.
We love weddings and events not just for the flowers, but for the opportunity to collaborate with other small businesses and creatives. It’s a joy and an honor to help others mark life’s special moments with beauty that reflects their personal style and values.
